France to acquire a nuclear deterrent making it “untouchable”

The French ASN4G (Air-Sol Nucléaire de 4ème Génération) is a next-generation air-to-ground nuclear-capable cruise missile. It has the capability to operate at hypersonic speeds.
Announced figures indicate a speed range of between Mach 6 and Mach 7, or up to approximately 8,500km/h, which means it will be at least two to four times faster than current missiles.
It will also have a larger operational range, exceeding double the current one, roughly over 1,000 kilometres per hour.
The missile in question has marked a substantial milestone in the development of France's nuclear defence strategy, enabling a swift and reliable reaction to any potential threat.
