Susan Pollack, 94, cautioned, "don't allow yourself another hard-won lesson."
"Beware of being deceived," she warned.
The issue has not been eliminated, stating, "It has the ability to wreak havoc like the devil itself."
On Monday, 27 January 2025, which is Holocaust Memorial Day, the 80th anniversary of the day the concentration camp was freed is observed.
It pays tribute to the memory of the six million Jews and other persecuted groups who were brutally murdered during the Holocaust by the Nazis.
